About Autism-Arena Education Trust | Our Mission and Vision

One-on-One School Readiness

To develop basic and foundational skills for the child to get ready for school or group sessions we provide 1:1 sessions. 1:1 sessions cater to kids between the age of 2 to 6 years. These sessions help the child to learn pre-academic skills like following instructions, responding to name, sitting tolerance, pencil grip, colouring, visual scanning, self-help skills, identification of alphabets, numbers, shapes and colours. A large part of 1:1 sessions also works on building communication skills. They also work on addressing challenging behaviours from the beginning in a way that later child is ready to be included in group setting. These sessions are tailored to individual child’s needs.

About

Autism Care After School Program

This is a specialized most effective program to combine special education and therapies together for better results. As per our discussions with various educators and therapists around the globe we found most of them are complaining about not having complete information about kid's progress as kids are going to different places for education and therapies which is delaying the kid's improvement drastically. Our program allows educators and therapists to decide about kid's immediate need and provide education and therapies accordingly in one fees. Yes, parents are paying one fees and based on teachers recommendation kid is taking education, speech therapy, occupational therapy and behavioral therapy.

Speech Therapy

Speech therapy will help you improve your ability to speak and communicate with language. What kind of speech therapy you need depends on several factors, including your age and which health condition or speech challenges you might have.

speech therapy can be used to help with:
  • Cognitive-communication disorders: You might have difficulty communicating if the area of your brain that controls your thinking ability is damaged
  • Dysarthria: People with dysarthria may have slow or slurred speech. It happens when the muscles that control your speech become weak
  • Apraxia: People with apraxia know what they want to say, but have trouble forming the words
  • Aphasia: People with aphasia can have difficulty reading, writing, speaking and understanding language
About

Behavioral Therapy

Behavioral therapies involve carefully observing current behaviors and then targeting specific ones for change. Therapists employ various techniques to increase positive or decrease negative behavior, and constantly collect data on success and failure. That way it is clear whether the child is making progress. If not, the therapists can adjust their approach.
