Autism Support Programs
Speech Therapy
Speech therapy will help you improve your ability to speak and communicate with language. What kind of speech therapy you need depends on several factors, including your age and which health condition or speech challenges you might have. speech therapy can be used to help with:
Aphasia: People with aphasia can have difficulty reading, writing, speaking and understanding language.
Apraxia: People with apraxia know what they want to say, but have trouble forming the words.
Cognitive-communication disorders: You might have difficulty communicating if the area of your brain that controls your thinking ability is damaged.
Dysarthria: People with dysarthria may have slow or slurred speech. It happens when the muscles that control your speech become weak.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy for autism evaluates the current developmental levels of children and adults with ASD, and aims to improve their ability to self-regulate emotions and participate in social interactions. Through interventions, an OT for autism can help individuals build strength and overcome limitations.
Our Occupational therapy program helps with:
- Sensory integration and sensory-based strategies
- Mental health and wellness treatment
- Emotional development and self-regulation strategies and programs
- Peer groups, social participation and play activities
- Self-care routines to help with daily activities such as bathing, feeding and grooming
- Motor development techniques
- Supporting an adolescent’s transition into adulthood and helping them build skills to enter the workforce
- Cognitive behavioral approaches to support positive behaviors

Behavioral Therapy
Behavioral therapies involve carefully observing current behaviors and then targeting specific ones for change. Therapists employ various techniques to increase positive or decrease negative behavior, and constantly collect data on success and failure. That way it is clear whether the child is making progress. If not, the therapists can adjust their approach.
Occupational therapy is valuable for individuals with autism who struggle with sensory processing disorder, fine and gross motor skills, and activities of daily living. Occupational therapists work to enhance independence and overall quality of life.
